San Francisco for Beginners
The “San Francisco for Beginners Tour” is the ideal tour for your first day in the city. I’ll take you on a journey to the beginnings of San Francisco. You’ll experience the stories of the numerous immigrants who brought their culture and way of life to what was once a small fishing town that went on to become a cosmopolitan city. The tour includes the neighborhoods of Union Square, Chinatown, North Beach, Nob Hill and Fisherman’s Wharf. This adventure is recommended for people over the age of 12 who have no problem with steep roads. There are only three hills on the tour, but they pack a punch.
The meeting point is on Union Square, right in front of the big statue of a woman in the middle. You can reach the meeting point by Muni, bus or Uber. A large parking garage is available to you directly on site. After the tour there are numerous ways you can spend the rest of the day and I will tell you all about it.
The Group Tour includes the Haight Ashbury and the Castro neighborhoods which were the epicenters of the cultural revolution that directly shaped modern San Francisco. You will be taken on a journey of music, architecture, beautiful vistas and interesting stories about the artistic and musical legends that lived here and impacted not only San Francisco but the entire world.
Legends of San Francisco
A great adventure for our family. Frank had the wonderful gift of showing us his city from its most beautiful side. We have seen and experienced so much and are very grateful that we were allowed to start our journey with him. He was very understanding with our children and quickly realized what was best for them. We felt very much at home with Frank and would be happy to recommend him from 💗!
