San Francisco for Beginners
The “San Francisco for Beginners Tour” is the ideal tour for your first day in the city. I’ll take you on a journey to the beginnings of San Francisco. You’ll experience the stories of the numerous immigrants who brought their culture and way of life to what was once a small fishing town that went on to become a cosmopolitan city. The tour includes the neighborhoods of Union Square, Chinatown, North Beach, Nob Hill and Fisherman’s Wharf.Â
This adventure is recommended for people over the age of 12 who have no problem with steep roads. There are only three hills on the tour, but they pack a punch. The pace of the tour is such that we see and experience a lot in 3 hours.
For those who have problems walking or want to go a little slower, there is an easier, “hill-free” version of the tour (San Francisco “light” for beginners). Please note when request booking.

With the help of augmented reality elements, I bring history to life and take you into the story of Harvey Milk and walk with you in the footsteps of a colorful community that began to fight for equality and acceptance in the 70s.
We stroll down Castro Street with its magnificent Victorian houses, past the historic Castro Theater. My very own story in this city began here in this community 7 years ago.
During the tour I will of course also introduce you to the many shops, galleries and cafes that characterize the district. Above all, I will introduce you to the people who made the Castro what it is today – a sign of hope and a celebration of diversity.
